Emery 12U baseball received second place at the SD VFW Class B State tournament. They defeated Freeman/Marion, 11-1, in the opening round of bracket play Saturday, July 13. They then defeated the Parkston Midgets, 9-1. After that, Emery 12U defeated the Montrose Irish, 18-6. Emery 12U then lost in the championship game against Winner, 1-6….
